Juni and Sivert travelled from Norway to the Marche region of Italy to celebrate their wedding overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Drawn to the natural beauty of Mount Conero, they chose a setting where the landscape, the quiet atmosphere and the intimacy of the occasion could come together.
Hotel Monteconero provided the backdrop for their symbolic ceremony, surrounded by greenery and the distinctive scenery of the Conero promontory. With the thoughtful planning of Papery Wedding, the day brought together the beauty of the place and the personal meaning of their celebration.

Beneath the trees, with the Adriatic Sea stretching across the horizon, Juni and Sivert exchanged their vows in the heart of Mount Conero. The open landscape and the quiet surroundings gave their symbolic ceremony an intimate atmosphere, framed by the natural beauty of the Marche.
Music accompanied the exchange of vows, blending with the stillness of the setting. Surrounded by family and friends, Juni and Sivert shared a moment that felt deeply personal, with the sea and the trees forming a natural backdrop to the beginning of their married life.

After the ceremony, I photographed Juni and Sivert among the grounds of Hotel Monteconero and around the ancient Church of San Pietro al Conero, where architecture, history and nature meet at the top of the promontory.
For their portraits, I wanted to let the surroundings shape the images rather than compete with them. The interplay of natural light, architectural lines and open views created a visual narrative that reflects my approach to wedding photography: editorial in composition, cinematic in atmosphere, and always centred on the connection between two people.

As evening approached, the celebration continued with dinner at Hotel Monteconero. White flowers, candlelight and the last warm light of the day created an elegant atmosphere, while Juni and Sivert shared this part of their wedding with family and friends. Alongside the wider scenes of the dinner and the interactions between guests, I captured the smaller details that shaped the setting — from the light filtering through the windows to the reflections in the glassware and the floral arrangements on the tables.
As dinner gave way to the party, the atmosphere shifted. Music filled the room, conversations turned into laughter, and the formality of the earlier moments gave way to spontaneous gestures and joyful embraces.
These are the moments I love to photograph: the fleeting expressions, the unplanned interactions and the energy that cannot be directed or recreated. Together, these moments bring a natural sense of movement to the story of the day, complementing the more composed portraits with the genuine energy of the celebration.

And as the celebration continued, the story came back to where it all began: Juni and Sivert, together. Between music, movement and intimate moments shared amid the festivities, their wedding became a reflection of what makes every love story unique. A day shaped by the beauty of Mount Conero, the warmth of the people around them and the quiet magic of being exactly where they were meant to be.
